Raffles Experience Day 1

I had always tried to put aside all the weird opinions and comments that people put forward to me. I feel that it is never fair to pass a judgement on something when you have yet to witness or experience it first hand.
However, I have to admit that I was in a state of shock for quite a while when I stepped into the communal hall. I expected that there would be some foreign students as NUS is a global university. However, I did not expect that MANY of them. The number of the international students is more than local students in RH! Gosh... I had to tell myself to calm down and brace myself for another experience.
Although we may be of the same age, or at least the same age group, I just cant seem to really click with them. There is this lack of chemistry... The feeling is not there. Really. It was a totally different feeling when I was with Cleoprata. I got the "let me out...." feeling this time round.
4 pathetic local boys got together and tried to make some noise and be a bit enthusiastic and appreaciative of the effort put in by the RHOC... but in the end, most of us just felt like leaving for one reason or another.
There was this tribal council activity, where we went around finding clues etc... which was ultimately freaking boring and a total waste of time. I totally did not enjoy myself at all. Then it was followed by a judge and council thingy. Well, it was purely a make-fun-of-junoirs-who-volunteered-event. At times, it may seem a bit funny... but on second thoughts, it was purely making fool of people who had stepped forward to offer their services.
Now I am rather receptive... I still need to clear my 2 sem requirement. I still want to live by my motto of "live life to the fullest". However...
Rather sleepy now. Its 0330hrs. Time to sleep. A long day ahead tml. I hope that I will be more positive tml... I will still want to go for Science rag though... I had given my word long ago... So... Too much to think about... Dont think and sleep boy...

Cheers
